As a disciple of Mr. Jagannath Basu, Mr.
Ramaprasad Banik and Mr. Partho Mukhopadhyay , I
recite Bengali as well as English poems , emcee
shows of genre as well as act in meaningful
projects. I also write and read scripts.
I do any kind of voice over activity as and when
required for promos, projects on screens and CDs
I participate in cultural programs – Bango
Sanskriti Utsab, Bhasa Utsab, Jadavpur Utsab, Book
Fair, Sishu Boimela, Kabi Pranaam, Mohar(biggest
event of 22se Shrabon on the occasion of death
anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore), BCL,
Ramkrishna Mission, Indo Russian Youth Guild,
Biswa Kabita Utsab, Bangla Sanskrti Utsav,
Antorjatik Kabita Utsab, Saltlake Cultural
Festival, EZCC’s Program, Bangla Sanskriti Mela,
Bidhannagar Mela, Anchalik Kabita Utsab, Behala
Utsab, Behala Milanutsab, Palash Prangan ( biggest
event on Basanto Utsav(Spring Festival)) are some
of them.
I perform on Radio Channels like Akashvani, Big
FM, Radio JU etc. also.
I am syndicated columnist and interviewer of
Washington Bangla Radio(only authorized
Incorporation to promote Bengali Culture in USA
working as Web Radio), which is viewed by 150
thousand Bengalis Worldwide regularly for
reporting cultural events, promoting budding young
talents as well as featuring incidents from
different sectors of Kolkata and interviewing
eminent personalities.
I am part of theatre family of Padatik, the
cultural group established by eminent actor and
director, Late Mr. Shyamanand Jalan.
