VOICING WORKSHOP
No. 18

 
 

The 18th Voicing Workshop was conducted on last Sunday. Again one Gentleman did not turn up. But still we had three very very dedicated persons. Mr. Rajesh Sharma from Panipat travelled around 120 kms to reach us. Rajesh is working with Nerolac Paints but has a tremendous passion for voicing. We also had another talented person, Mr. Ravindra Sharma working for Honda Body Shop. He also travelled from Greater Noida. Ravindra was one of the few persons who showed that voicing is what is born for. Really Monster should have him as their ambassador- 'caught in the wrong job'. We also had a very jolly & fine lady Reena Sharma working for a corporate and also a Hypnotherapist. Reena had a good voice texture but lacked in the throw and delivery. She had the capability to produce grainy voice at will which was very useful in recording IVRs and e-content. She recorded her demos after the learning sessions. Ravindra Sharma had a perfect narrative voice with base, authority and command. We gave him some discovery scripts which he recorded at ease. We are sure Ravindra soon would be heard all over. Rajesh Sharma from Panipat had a good character voice, but he needed to overcome his local accent and knowledge of some difficult Hindi Words. But we appreciate his dedication and devotion of his passion that he corrected himself and learned with attention. Session of Voice Improvement & Techniques and the Script analysation session took much time and was great enriching for all of us. Lot of other things were also discussed in this casual workshop ( and a great lunch too) with a professional approach. It was a great fun and when it was about 7 PM, nobody knew. A humble request to future participants, please be committed on your word, or cancel it at least a day before.
