VOICING WORKSHOP
No. 31

 
 

The 31st Voicing Workshop was conducted on last Sunday. This time we had 3 Guests.  These were Anoo C Nayar, a freelance journalist working for reputed journals, Nina Parhee and one aspiring actor Ajay who wanted to polish his skills in voice delivery and modulation. Anoo and Nina both were excellent orators and had good command over the language. There was a big difference in their voice textures. On the one hand Anoo had a mid to heavy base with slight husky voice on the other hand Nina had an attractive, sharp, commanding voice texture. Both were quick learners and very quickly adapted the knowledge practically behind the mic. The grace or the aura of their voice delivery was commendable. We were very sure of both of them getting the voice assignments. Session of Voice Improvement & Techniques and the Script analysation session took much time and was great enriching for Ajay who came specially for this and also for all of us. This workshop was also unique in a way that as the workshop got over we got a dubbing assignment of a 10 minute film in Hindi and needed a lead character voice for Hindi speaking Female. We analysed Nina'a and Anoo's voice texture and since Anoo was close to the original voice texture she got a paid assignment. Great ! Isn't it?. Below are some of the pics for this workshop.
