VOICING WORKSHOP
No. 39 |

|
The 39th Voicing Workshop was conducted on
request. We had Gaurav
Mehta, a BPO professional ,
Lokesh Chopra, a
business man, and Sajjad
Imam, a fashion professional. From all
the three Lokesh had the highest baritone texture
with authority, commanding nature, but he lacked
the skills in delivering and throw. Gaurav had a
mid to high texture, also a mimicry artist he had
the capability to modulate his throw but wanted to
enrich more on the voice culture. Sajjad on the
other hand had a mid baritone, husky and had a
great command over the English Language. All were desirous to learn and
had a great grasping power. Whatever was discussed
in theory was applied behind the mic. Sajjad had a perfect narrative
ability in English. The most important thing
was his English had grace in it. A perfect
polished stuff. Gaurav showed a immense
improvement over the six days when we met again
for the demos. His narrations had with good
constant flow with clarity over Hindi. Lokesh had a
high baritone voice well suited for promos, and
main voice overs. This workshop took more than
usual time as these people recorded their demos
with many scripts.
