VOICING WORKSHOP
No. 57 |
|
The 57th Voicing Workshop was conducted on
time, on both days. at Sing Along Studio,
Pitampura, Delhi. This time we had 4
participants from varied fields. All had strong
desire to have part time career into voicing
industry. We had a native Bengali Sujata Dey,
wife of a Naval Officer. Beside this we
had Leena Pandey an ex RJ in Gujarat, now
trying to come into mainstream voiceover in Delhi.
Then we had Bikrampreet Singh who flew in
from Bangalore for this workshop. and finally
Rajneesh Marwah, a hotelier with a great
passion for voicing. Sujata, a very soft spoken
person had a good voice texture and command over
English and Bengali, had no idea about voicing
when she came for the workshop, but we saw a
tremendous improvement in her and able to imply
the techniques of voicing in her voice demos.
Leena who already is 3 years experienced RJ had
nice projection of her voice and had the ability
of recording a number of genres of the script. She
had a perfect TV broadcast voice. Bikram had high
baritone texture grainy voice but wanted to polish
his skills in voice overs. Similarly Rajneesh also
had a gravity texture and had a strong desire to
come in to voice overs as part timer. The 2nd
session was extremely motivating and great
learning expereince where all of them recorded the
best demos. All were great learners and myself, Bhupesh
Bhayana and sound engineer Vasu
enjoyed training them with full motivation. All of
them were given 67 voicing leads this time, the
maximum so far with lots of notes & sample scripts
for home study.
We wish them all success for their voicing career
